What would have to change for there to be no war?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 13, 2008:
Human nature.
Humans want power.
Not necessarily on an individual level, but overall.
Evolution needs to take place before we can become truly cosmopolitan.
Sorry. Best we can do individually is cultivate peace in our own lives, and hope that it will be spread to others.
