What do you do when you have a day off?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 30, 2008:
I try to create (key word "try..." sometimes I just slack off, but that's another story!). I enjoy making. Not like, being on the make, but making, putting together, piecing, composing, constructing, drawing, painting.
Today I had some spare time, and since I just purchased (but have yet to receive) a quart of "padding compound" (that stuff on the edge of notepads that binds them together but makes it so you can pull the pages off easily), I made a number of designs for notepads. Mostly things that will become gifts. One with a dragonfly for my mom's birthday, one with my band's logo for my boyfriend (he's our bassist). I'm going to make a decision one with a pro/con list for an indecisive friend. I'm on a roll!
And when I'm not making something, I will read or watch something. Entertain myself in some way and relax! Relaxation is important!
